The power of your thoughts and words

Hello and welcome back. I am as always grateful to those of you on this journey with me as we learn how powerful we are and learn to embrace gratitude and love on our journey for the highest good of all.

When you wake on a workday morning, what are the first few thoughts that come to mind? Is there a sinking feeling in your stomach and a feeling of dread or do you take a few moments to reflect in quiet appreciation for this new day of life and the opportunities it may present? Every thought you have is energy, and the moment your thoughts begin their chatter, from the moment you stir in the morning, you are sending out signals to the universe that will shape the day ahead.

If you have the sinking feeling in the stomach and the feeling of dread, please see that as a guide to let you know that you have the opportunity to create change. You can follow this feeling and let the day ahead be shaped accordingly. Alternatively, you can acknowledge what your thoughts and body are communicating to you and choose a different direction. You can shift your focus and decide to give thanks and gratitude to three things you are grateful for.  You can also embrace the idea that perhaps there is a different path that is more suited to you and embrace the excitement of how that may look and feel.

I write a lot about the power of our words and thoughts because I know that everything is energy and what we put out is a signal to the universe. This signal is taken at face value. The universe listens and responds. If you are constantly tired, feel poor, or unwell, then this is what you will begin to bring in. The universe really responds to what we put out. This is a wonderful gift we are blessed with, yet for many who do not understand, their path can become quite destructive.

We are shaped from the moment we are born with what we should believe, what is considered right or wrong, and how we ourselves are perceived. We might be brought up and be told we are not smart, we are difficult, or we are too emotional. The beautiful part is you can choose to rewrite your story at any time. Your thoughts and words are absolutely that powerful.

For the next few weeks, I suggest paying close attention to your thoughts and the words you use. Please be mindful if the words you use do not reflect the thoughts you have. Sometimes we may say we are good, yet our thoughts are on a different track. If you find yourself in this space, take a few deep cleansing breaths and shift your focus to what you are grateful for. Spend time in nature and step away from your day-to-day life, even if it is for five minutes just to soak up the calm and peace that lies beneath the hustle and bustle.

You are more powerful than you have been taught. Your thoughts and words shape your world.

I wish you much love and light and look forward to the next post.

Michelle
