On a personal note, with the hope to inspire

Hello and welcome back! I am as always grateful to those of you who are on this journey with me.

I always talk about the power of our thoughts and our energy and today I would like to share what are hopefully inspiring stories from my own life. My hope is to help you realise that no matter the diagnosis from a doctor, no matter what the negative feedback is from another person, you always have the power to change the outcome if you choose.

Just over 22 years ago I had a cardiologist tell me that I would never be able to have a child and that I could drop dead at any moment. As a young woman at that time, these words were like swords into my heart. Another cardiologist many years later gave me a similar diagnosis. The words spoken by what we trust as professionals impact our lives, if, and I stress if, we allow it. It took me many years of angst, battling between what I had been told and what I truly chose for my life path. We can actually choose our destiny!

It saddens me greatly that some doctors will diagnose a person with a certain amount of time to live, tell them there are certain activities they will never be able to do again or that a person must remain on a certain medication for life. We can truly heal! We have that power!

It is with this knowledge that I am inspired to help others, to help people realise they do not have to accept what they have been told. If you believe and accept you have 3 months to live that is what you help to create. There are many stories of people who do not accept what they have been advised and determined to live they are guided on a path to create a new and healthy reality.

After my initial diagnosis that I would never be able to have a child, I was blessed and did. After being advised that I could drop dead at any moment I am still here, and I am stronger than ever.

My husband was diagnosed with drop foot numerous years ago. His left foot and lower leg went numb, and he could not lift it without using the upper leg to try and drag it forward. He was told by the doctor that nothing could be done, and he would never be able to walk properly again. The doctor offered to prescribe medication but when asked how it would assist he could not give a reason.

The great news is that my husband did not accept the diagnosis and now walks perfectly normal.

The reason I shared this is to make you aware that you do not have to accept what you are told, regardless of a person's position. The power always has and always will remain within you.

I am not here to disrespect those in our medical industry. We have many caring and wonderful people in these positions. I am merely suggesting that you have the power to heal if you so choose.

For the next few weeks all I suggest is to question what you may perceive to be your world and then focus on how you truly want the outcome to be.

I wish you much love and light and look forward to the next post.

Michelle
