Life always responds to the energy behind your actions or intentions

Hello and welcome back. I am as always grateful to those who are on this journey with me as we turn within to connect with the divine and realise the hidden gifts that we have always had.

There are many of us who lead a life filled with good intentions. We help people, we listen to people and we are there for others. We have hopes and dreams for ourselves and others. We are aware that everything is energy and what we think, say and do, all has an effect as to how the universe will respond.

The important thing to know about energy and how it flows is that the universe responds to the energy that is behind your action or intention. You may volunteer to help someone move house, but if there is energy that you are carrying behind that good act, for example, you may feel some resent that they only get in touch when they need help, or you may have a feeling that they have not given as much as you have towards the friendship, then that is the energy that life will respond to.

You may have a hope or dream to achieve a certain goal. You may take all the steps to achieve your dream but still find that things do not fall into place to achieve the end goal that you had in mind. It is here that I would ask the question as to what is the energy underneath that goal or dream? Are there fears around failing on some level? Perhaps you question whether you are good enough, or whether you will make enough money to make ends meet.

With this knowledge, we can now look at life from a different perspective. First of all, we now understand that we need to respect our time and choose to do things that truly bring us joy, come from a space of love and assisting where we are truly happy to do so. It is ok to have boundaries and nurture and respect ourselves, rather than feeling obligated to do things we really deep down do not want to do.

If there is an underlying fear, then this is there to guide us. Any sort of negativity that arises is always a guide that we are out of alignment in some way. Behind that negativity, will be a thought that you have accepted as truth. The question then becomes, what would I have to believe as truth to be successful? I would need to believe that I will be successful and that I will make enough money.

Both examples, where the energy underlying our action or intention does not match, is there to show us that we are out of alignment with our authentic self. Each moment, each decision we make, allows us the opportunity to reflect on what is underlying an action, a goal, or a decision.

For the next few weeks, I would suggest that you give time to think about whether what you are doing or what you have committed to, whether it brings you joy, do you look forward to it or is there a level of dread or feeling drained. The energy you feel underneath is what the universe will respond to.

You are much more powerful than you have been taught and the more we understand how energy works and the universe responds, we can begin to use the gifts that we have been blessed with.
