Everything is perspective

Hello and welcome back. I am always grateful to those of you who are on this journey with me.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience. Our beautiful soul which contains Creator source is within us. Unfortunately, many people have become disconnected from their soul and our Creator source, the light of God, the universal source of all that is. Our challenge when we choose to come to earth is that believe we are separate. We may feel alone, feel judged, judge others and often struggle or suffer on our journey. We are here to remember that everything is connected and that the light and love of the Creator source resides within each of us.

Once you realise that everything is energy and everything contains the spark of Universal source you can begin to see things differently. We often see life through a narrow perspective which is shaped by our past events and conditioning. We tend to take things very personally when we see ourselves as separate and forget that we are all connected. If someone puts you down or yells at you for something they think you did wrong, they are in that moment disconnected to divine source.   

From this perspective rather than reacting to the situation you realise that they are disconnected from Divine source and acting from their own hurt ego. Rather than taking their words personally you can now step back, take a deep breath and know that this is the human ego at work and not the true essence of the soul that is speaking or acting out.

This does not mean that we accept poor behaviour from others, it just means that we do not allow ourselves to be affected by their words and actions.  We can choose to step away from the situation rather than get caught up in it. Everything is energy and we all affect each other. By remembering your connection to Divine source, you can step away from the ego which likes to control things and can easily be hurt and react.

Two people can go through the same situation and come out with two completely different experiences. For example, at the checkout you may have a very grouchy person serving you and at the ego level it can be easy to be affected by their current mood, aka their energy. We may walk away from the situation with negative judgments around the service level and the person themselves. We have allowed ourselves and our energy to be affected. If you remember that you are a spiritual being first with a direct connection to the divine source, then you can also be aware that this person is currently disconnected. You do not need to allow their mood to affect you. In fact from this perspective, you may be able to bring about a spark of light back to them. Acknowledge them silently as a fellow soul on the same journey. Perhaps a kind word may bring them around. If not, that is ok too. Let them be, this is their journey too. You do not need to take on their energy or the weight they are carrying.

We will all end up at the same destination; we will all eventually return to the divine source. We are all at different levels of growth and learning on our spiritual journey. This is not a race, we all have free will. Just remembering the divine essence that resides within, that resides within all of us, will help shift your perspective.

For the next few weeks focus on seeing everyone as a being connected to Divine source, knowing that if they deviate from a loving or kind path they are temporarily disconnected. That is ok, that is their path and the energy they carry, or words spoken do not need to affect you.

You are and always have been more powerful than you realise. This is because you have the divine spark within you. When you live from a space of love and kindness you will attract this back in kind.
