Chaos around you does not mean chaos needs to be within you

Hello and welcome back! I am as always grateful to those of you on this journey with me as we learn how to navigate life’s challenges while focusing on our spiritual connection and growth and learning how to stay grounded and live life from a space of love and joy.
A number of weeks ago our beautiful cat of 13 years passed away outside our home after being hit by a car. She was my main grounding buddy each time I went outside which is of course every day. She would sometimes wait outside the door if she thought I should already be out there. From that day on I noticed an irritation in my being. I could feel that my patience was running thin and I just wanted to escape the world. As many of you can probably relate the ongoing stress and challenges in my office work world started to weigh me down. Even driving on the road and going to the shops seemed daunting as I can feel an intense, angry, almost chaotic energy out there.
Feeling at a bit of a loss I tuned into my team of love and light, aka my angels and spirit guides and asked them for guidance. The first message that came through was “Chaos around, not within”. I was being reminded that while there may, at times, be a lot of chaos in our personal life or across the world in general that we do not need to take that on board and make that our inner world. In my state of grief I was allowing this to happen.
Our inner world is our sanctuary. It is our connection to Creator Source, it is the light we have within that shines outwards and helps others. As energetic creator beings, our outer world is created and a reflection of our inner world. While there is chaos around us, if we maintain and protect our energy, our thoughts, our words and our actions in alignment with that which is calm, peaceful and loving, then we can navigate through the chaos without being affected by it. We become the calm amongst the storm.
For the next few weeks, pay attention to any moments of chaos around you that may arise and immediately become present to your inner world. Breathe deeply, quieten your mind and listen to your inner self. Perhaps you are being guided to step away from a situation, or make a necessary change in your routine to bring about more peace. Or perhaps some tears will help to release what you are feeling. I certainly let plenty of those fall recently.
No matter what things look like, you are extremely powerful. You have the ability to change your world. Many of us have been working on clearing old patterns and energies, wanting to live a healthier and more balanced life. To each of you doing this I thank you for your light helps others as well. You are a shining star and together we light up the world to bring about positive change that is very much needed.
I wish you much love and light and look forward to the next post.
Michelle
