What is truth?

Updated: Feb 24

Hello and welcome back. As always, I hope this post finds you well. I have been asked to give my thoughts on the question “What is truth?”.

This is a very good question to ask as we are living in a time where the words misinformation and disinformation get used a lot.  People who try to speak out are and have been silenced, lost their jobs, arrested, bank accounts frozen and banned from platforms for these exact reasons. We are told not to question the science behind information fed to us yet isn’t science actually meant to be about questioning and researching?  And why are those in control of our governments and social media platforms so afraid of those that share their side of a story or raise questions?

So back to the question of what is truth? I believe the absolute truth can only come from the divine source so for us to know what is true and what is not we need to be connected to the divine so we can feel and know the truth when we hear it. One can connect to the divine source through regular meditation, time in nature, time grounding, prayer and living each moment in the present. These are just a few suggestions.  The divine source, God, the creator, is inside of you. The more time you take to connect the more you will feel and know what is true.

Many people however are disconnected from all that is divine. They have been brainwashed since birth and just follow what they are told and believe it. That in turn is their truth. They themselves do not want to be questioned or challenged on the beliefs that have been fed to them and they take what has been presented to them and make this a truth in their world.

Remember we are co-creators with the universe so it is ultimately up to you as to what sort of world you want to create and what path to follow and if you do not believe this, that is ok too for life will just continue to happen to you. Learning how powerful you truly are however is a special gift in itself. I will always encourage people to question and to research. Use your intuition and follow it. If you have not used it for a while start practising and make notes of what works and what doesn’t.

If you still feel unsure about whether some is true or not, let it be. Ask for guidance or a sign and trust. Over the next few weeks you can practise using your intuition. Make sure you are present in the moment and then focus on how you feel, what does your gut say, do you resonate with what you are hearing or reading? Start a diary and record what you are noticing. These are all powerful steps to taking back your power.

I wish you much love and light and look forward to the next post.
